Terrain's CEO Dr Allan Dale is on the Governing Board of the Reef and Rainforest Research Centre Limited (RRRC). The RRRC is a leader in coordinating research in the Wet Tropics region.

The Reef and Rainforest Research Centre Limited (RRRC) was created in 2006 to implement the Australian Government's Marine and Tropical Sciences Research Facility (MTSRF) in North Queensland.

Research that is conducted by the MTSRF is for public benefit.  The Marine Tropical Sciences Research Facility has produced 28 multimedia Visual Documentation clips using contributions from research projects being conducted under the MTSRF program.
