Have your say on our region’s NRM Plan

November 25, 2019

The Wet Tropics Plan for People and Country is being reviewed and updated, and we'd love to hear from you all.

This is our region’s natural resource management plan, which supports decision-making at all levels – from investors and policy-makers to local government, community groups and land managers.

The plan is online and can be viewed at this link.

Local priority actions are included. These were developed with community input during 2015, and they’ll be updated.

Input from local communities, landholders and group is important. We want to make sure this plan is relevant for everyone who lives and works in the Wet Tropics region.

We'll be contacting groups in 2020 to let you know how you can be involved but in the meantime here are three ways to have your say:

  1. Complete our online survey to provide feedback about the NRM Plan.
  2. Contact our NRM Plan coordinator Bronwyn Robertson directly to discuss the NRM Plan or provide feedback.
  3. Contact us to arrange a time to meet with your group for a more detailed information session.

This project is supported by Terrain NRM through funding from the Australian Government’s National Landcare Program.
