SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE FACILITATOR

Tom Crow is the Wet Tropics’ Sustainable Agriculture Facilitator, affectionately known as the SAF!

Funded by the Australian Government’s, Tom supports landholders in the Wet Tropics to adopt innovative and sustainable farming practices. He helps to coordinate and deliver workshops, farm demonstrations and other events where farmers can network and learn from each other.

Tom connects farmers and other landholders who are seeking information on training, community events and meetings, grant applications and networking opportunities related to sustainable agriculture. This includes environmental markets and sustainability frameworks that he is currently upskilling in to be able to provide better information for producers.
